Machine Learning Enabled Prediction of Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Effectiveness of Poly(Vinylidene Fluoride)/MXene Nanocomposites Bouchaib Zazoum1, a 1Department of Mechanical Engineering, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Al Khobar, KSA abzazoum@pmu.edu.sa Keywords: EMI effectiveness, nanocomposites, MXene, PVDF, machine learning.
Metals with excellent electrical conductivity such as Ag, Cu, or Ni can be used as good barriers against electromagnetic radiation [1]; however, these metals possess high density and are difficult to process, which can limit their engineering applications in tiny and wearable electronic devices. 2D Ti3C2T or MXene nanomaterials is one of the promising alternative to replace metals for flexible EMI shielding owing to its excellent electrical conductivities, high specific surface area, low density and good flexibility.
