Microstructure and mechanical properties of PVD nanoncrystalline layers Krzysztof Lukaszkowicz1,a, Jarosław Konieczny1,b 1Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials, Konarskiego 18A Street, 44-100 Gliwice, Poland akrzysztof.lukaszkowicz@polsl.pl, bjaroslaw.konieczny@polsl.pl Keywords: nanostructural coating, PVD, tool materials, adhesion, mechanical properties.
Introduction Looking for coating materials with hardness which is higher than the hardness of traditional polycrystalline coatings, there are founding materials with unique nanometric structure properties.
Hardness of materials increases with decreasing the size of grains.

Construction waste brick is one new type of building material.
It could be concluded from the CT scan images that the crack mainly produced in the tip of the interface transition zone during the loading process, the crack mainly propagated along the new mortar, old mortar, broken brick zone and the interface between the recycled aggregates with high density and the cementing materials. 2.

The results of this of failure analysis allow an engineer to choose package geometries and materials which reduce the risk of failure.
It was also believed that the selection of better packaging materials would reduce the possibility of package failure.
Comparison work between two types of the packaging materials was done to see the stress for each process.

Materials and Processing The DTM SLS 2500 plus machine was used for the sintering of specimens from base material.
The part density can be increased by controlling the laser power to a higher value which increases the bonding between the materials.
