Abstract:The fatigue of grid structures with welded hollow spherical joint under suspending cranes is an issue in both academic and engineering fields at home and abroad.
Introduction In light of its advantage, steel plate-type grid structures had been applied widely in industrial building recently. When the grid structures with welded hollow spherical joints were used in industrial structures with suspending cranes, the fatigue problems which were caused by back and forth alternating loads are highly concerned by academic and engineering fields .
Establishment of the constant amplitude fatigue calculation method Taken into account the convenience of the engineering staff and the main factors that affected the fatigue strength of welded hollow spherical joint was the stress amplitude, the stress amplitude was used for the design parameters.
