Experimental Materials The sewage sludge used in the experiment was taken from the dehydration room of Lanzhou Yan Erwan Sewage Treatment Plant.
Based on references and experimental results that have been obtained, the best C/N ratio of raw composting materials was from 25 to 35.
Due to the fact that the C/N ratio of sludge ranged from 5 to 8 and the ratio of sawdust was about 200, the dry mass ratio 7:1 of the both materials was determined.
