Abstract.
On the one hand, small tool orthogonal wedge angle leads to the reduction in strength of the cutting edge, on the other hand, it is not conducive to the cutter cooling which will reduce the surface hardness and wear resistance of the tool material, increase the affinity of the tool material and the work piece material[[3] Tian Chunyan, Research on Cutting Performance of TiC-based Cermet Cutter Modified by Adding Nano-TiN, Tool Engineering, 2002. ] and exacerbate adhesive wear.
