The discovery of translucent concrete some years ago, opened a new horizon in Civil Engineering.
However, the scientific and technical communities working in Civil Engineering seem to be still far away from clear ideas and strategies to take profit of one of the main properties of this material: its possibility to transmit light.
This fact is started to be used in Architecture, but not in Civil Engineering.
Translucent concrete is a very promising material with unexpected applications in Civil Engineering. 2.

The paper presents problems of modal testing of large civil engineering objects like bridges or viaducts.
Introduction Nowadays it is strong tendency to apply permanent monitoring of important civil engineering objects like bridges, tall buildings, masts or chimneys.
Modern monitoring systems of the civil engineering objects use a model based diagnostics.
For civil engineering objects like bridges or viaducts it is very difficult and in most of the cases impossible.

The civil aircraft’s manufacturing process is complicated because of its complex structure and various parts in need.
This paper optimized and designed the robustness of the civil aircraft supply network, first with the project evaluation and review technique (PERT) we set a supply network model; then optimized the critical path to make the system functions remain constant, and the civil aircraft supply network robustness got optimized.
The robustness is the ability to maintain its system function facing the internal structure and external environment changes for the civil aircraft network.
Fig. 1 The symbol significance in the pert network Modeling steps: According to the above definition we get the civil aircraft supply network model from below steps: Step1:Definite all the suppliers and their supply relationships Here we get the supply relationship from the structure of civil aircraft, and the hierarchical structure of civil aircraft based on Bill of Material (BOM).
