Abstract: polyacrylate/nano-silicon dioxide nanocomposites were fabricated through a simple
mixing process for resisting scratch and wear as coating.
Silicon dioxide is one of the most important materials for many fields such as chemical sensors, varistors, thin film photovoltaic solar cells, catalysts, and cosmetic meterials.
Results and discussion Morphology of materials surface and wear surface of the nanocomposites The material surface morphologies of raw nano--SiO2, silane-functionalized nano-SiO2 with diffirent nano-particle concentration are shown in Fig. l.

Abstract.
Low-carbon Al2O3-C refractories were prepared using white fused corundum, α-Al2O3 powders and flake graphite as main raw materials.
Refractory fracture energy is the average energy consumption of the materials when the materials crack per unit area, characterizing the ability to resist cracking.
Therefore, by increasing the critical particle size to some extent, the thermal shock resistance of the materials can be improved.
