It is highly attractive for solid mechanics applications, especially to new materials, such as IR window materials.
It can be used both in a reflection mode (for opaque materials) and in a transmission mode (for transparent materials).
CGS is very effective for the fracture study of IR window materials.

Carbon materials, such as active carbon, is generally served as the anode materials or the active materials for the cathode of lithium battery because of it high specific surface area [1].
Those results prove that carbon aerogels is one of the promising materials used in high energy storage field.

Pore distribution was regular three-dimensional geometric figure when D≤3, but when D>3, pore distribution of materials have been rather complicated and irregular, three-dimensional figure of Euclidean geometry can't be used to characterize spatial distribution, we can only use D [7]. 3 Materials and test method 3.1 Materials 42.5 moderate heat Portland cement produced by Gezhouba cement mill in Guizhou, that specific surface area was 317m2/kg, chemical and mineral composition of cement clinker were shown in Table 1.

The grain size distribution of landslide dam materials may have special features.
According to the researches of granular materials, the movement of granular materials will lead to particle size segregation, that is, larger particles tend to move upward to the top layer of the granular flow [5-7].
During this process, materials of the landslide dam may segregates, which probably contributes to special size distribution.
