Microbial structures grow practically on all kind of materials, in almost any environment where there is a combination of moisture, nutrients, and a surface.
Effect of applied cathodic polarization of structural steel (sorbite structure) on: a) the amount of S2- ions, b) the content of permeable hydrogen; based on [25] Electropermeation measurements performed both in sterile and inoculated media unequivocally demonstrate that CP does not destroy the bacteria metabolism and even promoted their activity.
Fractographic analysis of hydrogenated DSS after SSRT: (a-c) macrostructures of fractures, (d,e) results of quantitative analysis (area fractions) of hydrogenated fractures Since SRB modify the corrosion behavior of steel subjected to CP, their effect may differ depending on the chemistry and the phase composition of steels.

Fig. 6 Exhausted dust purification device structure
The dust exhaust hood is installed on overhead guard plate of roadheader body, close to rotary drum, with a height less than 0.4 m, so as not block the sight of the driver.
The dust exhaust hood has a flat structure which is broad ahead and narrow behind.

Moreover, the platelet structure of M-BNT and BNT are expected to induce tortuosity in NR which can reduce diffusion in composites.
Meanwhile, the platelet structure of M-BNT and BNT increases the tortuosity and lowers the water uptake of NR.

When a concrete structure is exposed to a fire, the temperature rises in the initial stage due to the gradual inhalation of heat by the surrounding high-temperature air.

Abrasive Garnet Sands for Industrial Application and the Derived Waste (Spent Garnets)
Garnet represents a prototypical, rock-forming silicate mineral, with analogous lattice crystalline structures and various chemical compositions, present in metamorphic rocks, as it generally maintains chemical and textural features along its metamorphic development [10-14].
Generally, the experimental procedures considered for most of the consulted studies followed the same protocol: regular concrete/mortar mix design, cement-based or alkali activated type, considered as reference and development of testing mixture, by progressive replacement of sand content with considered waste Garnet; preliminary evaluation of the substituting material (the Garnet waste) is performed, usually with respect to the substituted one (regular sand), in terms of specific physical and chemical properties: visual aspect, granular distribution, water absorption, specific gravity, bulk density, chemistry and mineralogy composition (XRF and XRD investigations).

In
order to improve the bending rate, short poly(ethylene oxide) side chains into the PEO networks as
dangling chains were introduced in the SPE structure through the design of a "branched PEO
network" [19].
The CIPN structure exhibits advantages compared to a three-layer actuator since the adhesive interfaces between the PEDOT and SPE are suppressed by construction and replaced by a much larger interaction surface.

Among them, the mechanical method continues to improve with the improvement of road deicing equipment, but it still faces the key problems of high cost, high energy consumption, inefficient efficiency, and damage to the road surface [1].Chemical method uses snow melting agent to reduce The freezing point of ice and snow is convenient to spread, but the salt contained in the snow melting agent is corrosive, which may cause the pavement structure to peel off and cause pollution to surrounding plants, soil, water and atmosphere [2].
Because the production of low-grade magnetite ore is huge, solving the problem of production and accumulation of discarded low-grade magnetite ore; on the other hand, magnetite meets the performance requirements of pavement aggregates, physical chemistry It is stable in nature and has strong microwave heat generation capability, so it has great potential.
Pavement microwave deicing is a complex problem involving multiple disciplines, not only considering the heating capacity of the road surface, but also the structure and performance of the microwave deicing vehicle.

The garnettype
A3-xCaxFe5O12 (A = Gd, Y)
and Sr4Fe6O13±δ show relatively
low oxygen deficiency and low
mobility of the oxygen vacancies
as a result of specific structural
features, such as crooked diffusion
pathways in the garnet structure
and two-dimensional vacancy
diffusion in the layered structure of
Sr4Fe6O13-δ [19,28].
Ordering of oxygen vacancies in the brownmillerite-type structure of FIG.3.
Namely, a weak Fe-O bond strength in the structure leads to a higher mobility of oxygen ions, greater oxygen nonstoichiometry variations and higher lattice expansion on heating [10].
In these conditions, Sr4Fe4Co2Oz decomposes forming three phases including layered Sr4Fe6-xCoxO13±δ, perovskite-type SrFe1-yCoyO3-δ and Fe1-xCoxOγ with a rock-salt structure.
The material with x = 0.2 was apparently found single phase with an orthorhombic lattice similar to Sr4Fe6O13±δ (space group Iba2), thus indicating that this structure may tolerate moderate Fe-site deficiency.
