These transformations are typically enabled by stimuli-responsive materials such as metals, ceramics, and polymers, which can evolve into new configurations over time [1, 2]. 4D printing holds significant promise for applications in aerospace, automotive, and structural engineering.
However, structures composed solely of polymeric materials often exhibit insufficient mechanical performance, such as low stiffness and limited strength, which restricts their practical engineering use and design versatility [3].
