Keywords: crystal plasticity; representative volume element; Bauschinger effect; finite element method; aluminium alloy 7075
Abstract: A texture-based representative volume element (TBRVE) model is developed for the three-dimensional crystal plasticity (CP) finite element simulations of the Bauschinger effect (BE) of polycrystalline aluminium alloy 7075 (AA7075).
A tension-compression cyclic loading with ±1.5% engineering strain is applied on the 3D TBRVE and simulated in ABAQUS standard solver.
