Finite element simulation of recycled concrete slabs with anchor bolts
The simulation use the ABAQUS nonlinear finite element software which handle the nonlinear materials better.
The material parameters are shown in Table 1.

The experimental techniques
dedicated to the evaluation of residual stresses at the interfaces and in the bulk of materials have
been improved.
Materials and Methods A nano-hydroxyapatite double side coated 20x11x2mm Ti-4Al-6V plate was implanted in a sheep's tibia.
Subsequently the stresses were calculated using ISO/TTA3 standard: Polycrystalline materials - Determination of residual stresses by neutron diffraction.
Since bone is a porous material, there are non-uniformly distributed internal cavities over the measured areas.

This paper deals with the use of waste materials from processing of stone in the construction
industry.
Because of the improvement of the environment or the reduction of environmental degradation and reduction in quantity of waste materials which are not reusable, the effort to utilize these waste materials in harmony with sustainable development principles increases [1].
The estimated quantity of waste materials from the extraction in Egypt is 6.4 million tons per year [2].
The best way how to make these waste materials on the basis of marble and limestone reusable is recovery [3].

But materials of
low absorption or mixed phases show a weak absorption contrast at there interfaces.
This is in analogy to the behaviour of visible light in transparent materials e.g. lenses or prisms.
Therefore the novel X-ray refraction technique might help accelerating materials development, leads to a better understanding of meso-structures and partly replace micro analysis and mechanical testing in advanced materials science.
