Currently peony gallic acid content determination method are micellarelectrokinetic chromatography method[1] and high performance liquid chromatography[2,3].An ultra-performance liquid chromatography/quadrupole time-of-fight mass spectrometric method was established to analyze chemical constituents of the methanol extract of Paeonialactiflora Pall by HuidanMu[4].Yuan Tian determined the contents of trace elements Fe, Mn, Zn in water extract from PaeonialactifloraPall[5].Yuhong Liu developed an HPLC method for determination of total glucosides of paeony with benzoic acid as control[6].An HPLC method was developed for the determination of albiflorin, paeoniflorin, and benzoylpaeoniflorin in Total Glucoside of Paeony Capsule by QiaoWang[7].
