Improving Effect of Mineral Admixtures on Volume Stability of Steel Slag Mortar LUN Yunxiaa, ZHOU Mingkai b , CAI Xiao c Key Laboratory of Silicate Materials Science and Engineering of Ministry of Education, Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, 430070, China.
Every year nearly 50 million tons of steel slag is generated, but the utilization rate is only 10% in civil engineering in China [1].
However, the excellent physical and mechanical properties of BOF slag has been reported as a promise materials for potential use in civil engineering as aggregates [6-9].
Undissolved free MgO coming from flux containing dolomite and from MgO refractory used as the lining of the steel furnace is another major factor for the utilization in civil enginnering [11].

The test results also show that the bracket can be regarded as canlitecver model in practical engineering.
Introduction Steel-concrete composite structure has been more widely used in recent years, Wang Hailiang (department of civil engineering, Tianjin institute of urban construction) studied the cft column to H-beam connection under cyclic loading[1], Chen Fangming (center for engineering design and research under the general equipment department) studied the key joint of steel-concrete composite structure, and analyzed the bearing capacity, ductility of composite structure[2], Fan Jiansheng(department of civil engineering, tsinghua university) research the seismic behavior of 3D composite steel-concrete joints[3] .but related research focused mainly on the structure story drift control under the action of earthquake, the study of structure damage fracture morphology under strong earthquake and the anti-seismic weak position of structures such as steel-concrete nodes were not studied comprehensively.
