Abstract.
This paper takes an energy saving renovation engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan, Hubei province, as a case, and some energy-saving technical measures were put forward, such as Active Dynamic Ventilated Envelope (ADVW), climatic adaptive windows, underground cooling and heat sources, solar building integrated system and under floor air supply system, etc.
Therefore, it is particularly important to research the application of renewable energy combined with the energy saving renovation engineering in this area.
