The structure for plant is composed of various engineering problems complicatedly, and it is hard to change design variables arbitrarily.
In order to prepare a competition among advanced engineering companies, it is essential to have a system including whole process.

Preface
This volume of Materials Science Forum contains the selected papers presented at the 5
th
International Conference on High Speed Machining (ICHSM 2012) held in Jinan, China, from
15 to 16 August 2012.
The ICHSM aims to communication and cooperation of the research results and technology experiences about high speed machining among the research institutions, academic organizations, and machine tool industries, which supply a new opportunity for the high speed machining theory and practice in the field of science, engineering and industrial to reveal recent achievements, exchange experience of success, and to talk about the future development.
We would also like to extend our acknowledgement to authors for sharing their results and experience in advance of high speed machining.

As college teachers, we should learn to use e-mail, BBS, FTP, QQ, campus forum and other modern information technology, to carry on friend-type dialogue and exchanges with students in learning, living, employment and other aspects.
Of course, network curriculum design is complicated system engineering (including many links), needing to invest a lot of time and energy, strengthen the team cooperation.
Without correct guiding ideology and concept, the most advanced technology and equipment can not play a role.
Because the economic development of our country is not balanced, all the schools can not add advanced teaching equipment all of a sudden, but can add multimedia computer and teaching software through raising funds by a variety of channels, to create good material conditions for teachers’ role conversion.
