Design of SMA Damper and Analysis on Seismic Control of Frame Structure Dejin Xing 1, Baoquan Yang 2, Mingdong Wang 1 1.Department of civil engineering, Shandong Jiaotong University, jinan, 250023, China. 2.
However, the structure of large civil engineering often work in the open, it is greatly affected by temperature, humidity and other environmental impacts, and require a high seismic capacity.
Peter[6] and others in the University of California Earthquake Engineering Research Center, who developed a SMA passive damping device for the seismic response of civil structure.
SMA damper is a good energy performance damper that can be applied in seismic of Civil Engineering.

Aiming at rapid-repair engineering of airport cement concrete pavement, this paper chooses rapid-hardening sulphoaluminate cement to prepare rapid-hardening sulphoaluminate concrete (RSC) and evaluate its technology performance referring to test methods of Portland cement concrete.
Now there are more than 180 civil airports in China, most of them have been in operation for many years, and appear some pavement damages from time to time.
At the same time, increasingly busy air transport markets make higher demands of civil airport response time and technical guarantee, especially on the condition that there is only one runway in most of airports, it is not possible to allow for closing the airport for runway maintenance, which will result in huge economic losses and very bad social influence.
Table 5 Proportioning of RSC Cement content [kg/m3] Water-cement ratio Sand percentage [%] SP1 content [%] Retarder content [‰] 500 0.34 34.0 1.2 2~7 Performance evaluation Technology performance tests of RSC should be execute referring to "Test methods of cement and concrete for highway engineering (JTG E30-2005), Industry standard of the People's Republic of China".
The testing results indicate that the slump loss is small, setting time of RSC is prolonged after adding retarder (take 5‰), and the time in plastic flow slurry state is approximately 30 ~ 40 minutes, which meets the requirements of rapid repair engineering.
