However, in unprotected conditions, the overall failure of the structure with large space will likely take place due to redistribution of internal forces and deterioration of characteristics of structural materials once the structure is subjected to a fire load.
The main reason is that the thermal expansion of steel materials of the structure plays a leading role instead of deterioration of mechanical properties of the steel materials for the large space pre-stressed steel structure subjected to fire load.
