Analysis and computation of the temperature field of
concrete filled steel tubular columns

The precision of the simplified calculation method can satisfy the accuracy requirement of engineering practices.
Because of its importance in structure system and wild application in civil engineering, not only its mechanical properties at normal temperature but also its fire behavior and fire resistance are very important.
According to the Chinese “Code for fire protection design of high-rise civil buildings”, the fire resistance of CFT column is 150 or 180 minutes.
It also can be seen that the calculation accuracy of the Eq.3 can satisfy the precision request in the engineering application.
The precision of the simplified calculation method can satisfy the accuracy requirement of engineering practices.
