For another, among related majors or disciplines such as the planning discipline, civil engineering, environment management, and other science engineering, humanity and arts, the substantial communication is insufficient.
The Construction of Scientific Questions of Urban Planning Study Generally speaking, there rarely exist rigorous scientific questions in Urban Planning discipline as it is one of engineering and technology disciplines, dealing with problems of practical engineering or technological application.
As pointed in the 2009 Application Guide of 973 National Plan, “it is necessary to do research on basic scientific questions involving the ecology, engineering safety, environment and engineer control on urbanizing western hilly rural areas”; “it is necessary to do research on the basic scientific questions concerning urban underground projects and the safety of urban building clusters” etc..
In general, the emphasis of Architecture has always been on Urban Planning Study of architecture engineering, and the teaching model is built on the morphology theory of urban material space and practical research.
Besides, it is also necessary to continue to upgrade the teaching model of Urban Planning of Architecture Engineering in different aspects such as the curriculum systems, teaching process and teaching evaluation indices.
