The course is conducted together with the professional basic course, such as "physical performance of inorganic material", "introduction to environment science", "introduction to energy science" and "introduction to inorganic non-metallic materials".
Besides, the course interpenetrates with the specialized courses such as "new power material" and "environmental materials science".
One of the students preached his thesis in the "2nd International Conference on Energy and Environment Materials" held in Guangzhou in December 2004, which was published in the Journal of Zhongshan University (Natural Sciences).

Pure Al powders are widely known as energetic materials.
Accordingly, in order to increase the penetration depth and destructiveness, other materials or combinations of materials have been used[3-5].
Therefore, highly reactive materials (e.g., Al, Mg, and self-propagating high temperature synthesis materials) have been considered.
It was confirmed to be possible to manufacture metal bulk materials using kinetic spray process, having higher strength than the existing severe plastic processed materials.

This paper reports on the reactivity study of composite cathode materials that comprises different weight percent of La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3-α (LSCF) and BaCe0.54Zr0.36Y0.1O3-α (BCZY).
One of the materials issues governing the development of IT-SOFC that has been highlighted is the compatibility between cathode and electrolyte materials.
At calcination temperature of 1000 oC, we suggest that there were no observable chemical reactions among these two materials.
