Study on Service Life of OPC and HPC in Marine Environment Chen Haoyu1,a 1Tianjin Port Engineering Institute of CCCC First Harbour Engineering Company Ltd Tianjin 300222 China achenhaoyu2006@163.com Keywords: Bonder ability, Diffusion coefficient, Time-dependent parameter, Chloride ion concentration of surface, Degradation effect coefficient, Service life Abstract.
Introduction In the 21st century, concrete is the most primary structure material in basic engineering construction.
There is a long coastline in southeast of China, most of the basic engineering construction is concentrated there many concrete structure serviced no more than 20 years.
Diffusion theory of Cl- in concrete has very important theoretical value and practical significance to extend the service lives of civil engineering structures.

Study on effects of sea ice on nonlinear seismic responses of single-column pier subject to different types of earthquakes Fu-qiang Qi1,a, Bo Song1, b 1School of Civil & Environment Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing 100083, China asafety-star@163.com, bsongbo@ces.ustb.edu.cn Key Words: Sea Ice; Single-column Pier; Earthquake; Nonlinear Seismic Response Abstract: The seismic response analysis model of a single-column pier surrounded by sea ice was established and it analyzed the nonlinear seismic response of the pier subject to different types of earthquakes.
Introduction The ice period can be 3-4 months in Bohai Sea, and the large span bridges, offshore engineering structures are subject to both seasonal frozen and hydrodynamic pressure.
In foreign history, there have been several serious structural damages of offshore engineering subject to ice load and earthquake.
How to design the offshore engineering and guarantee the engineering structures safe operation is still a challenge and problem to engineering professionals.
