The construction industry is a large carbon emissions in China, according to statistics, Chinese existing buildings’ direct consumption of energy accounted for about 30% of the total social energy consumption in the process of construction and operation, energy consumption of building materials used in the production accounted for 16.7%, water accounted for 47% of total urban water, the use of steel accounted for 30% of the amount of Social steel, cement accounted for 25%.In addition, generated in the process of construction dust, noise and glare also had a serious impact on the social environment.
The benefit changes of the low-carbon building can be expressed as follows: ΔP=ΔPa1+ΔPa2+ΔPa3 (2) In formula (2), ΔPa1 means the changes of the environment benefit and the whole social benefit by the low-carbon building, it can be expressed the sum of the environment benefit and whole social benefit because of the reduction of the carbon emissions; ΔPa2 means the sale change of the low-carbon building product, it can be expressed the difference of the sales between the low-carbon building product and the traditional building product; in the low carbon trend of the whole society, the own social acceptable degree and brand benefit of the owner and the contactor of the low-carbon building will be improved greatly, these benefits can be measured using the currency through professional assessment agencies, so ΔPa3 means the benefit changes of the brand value by the low-carbon building.
