A Brief Analysis of Renovation Project Management of ShantyTowns CAI Jianguo School Of Civil Engineering And Architecture, Nanchang University, Nanchang 330031, China caijianguo@163.com Keywords: Shantytown renovation; project management; Management situation; Strategies and Suggestions Abstract: with the purpose of acquiring an insight into the current situation of existing renovation project management of shanty towns in China and truly mastering the effect of such management, the renovation project of shanty towns is taken as a target of this systematic and in-depth study.
The management of renovation project of shanty towns is a form of application of project management in construction engineering.
The renovation project of shanty towns is a complicated system engineering which is constituted of several subdivisions that are interdependent, interactive, interactional and inter-contained.
As a result, management personnel shows different levels of professional knowledge and becomes disqualified for managing large-scale and complicated engineering projects, which brings the whole work efficiency of management organization down to a new low level.
The renovation project management of shanty towns is a relatively long system engineering, in which managers will confront with investment decision-making, construction organization, maintenance and external exchange involving many fields as engineering technology, management, economy, law and environment.

Introduction Vibration behavior is an essential signature of structures and has been a study topic for structural health monitoring (SHM) or nondestructive damage detection (NDE) for aerospace, civil, and mechanical infrastructures.
The same is true for other engineering structures.
This kind of prestress is ubiquitous in engineering structures or infrastructures due to working loads, boundary conditions, temperature and wind etc.
Since prestress is ubiquitous on engineering structures, it is clear that the prestress effects is an area of research interest for the impedance method to be applied to practical engineering structures.
Acknowledgment The authors are grateful to the CRC for Integrated Engineering Asset Management (CIEAM) for funding this research project.

Influence of Chloride Contamination on the Specific Surface Area of Loess Wenwu Chen1,2,a, Yanrong Xu1,2,b, Zhiqian Guo1,2,c 1 Key Laboratory of Mechanics on Western Disaster and Environment, Ministry of Education (Lanzhou University), Lanzhou, Gansu, 730000, China 2 College of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, Gansu, 730000, China a sungp@lzu.edu.cn, b xuyr11@lzu.edu.cn, c zqguo11@lzu.edu.cn Keywords: chloride contamination, loess, specific surface area (SSA), methylene blue method, ethylene glycol monoethyl ether method.
People now pay more and more attention and concern to the physicochemical and engineering properties of soil which polluted by chloride.
The particle size, mineral and chemical composition, secure level of the junction between grains, surface energy and relative surface characteristics of soil will be changed with the development of specific surface area, all of them are the influencing factors about physicochemical and engineering properties of soil.
In this paper it analyzed the influence of chlorides with different concentrations and cations on SSA of loess, so as to offer some accordance to the study of physicochemical and engineering properties about polluted loess.
The surface area is greater with the stronger of surface energy, because it can form a micro force field through interaction with ions, atoms, molecules and particles around it, and then it will affect the physicochemical and engineering properties of soil, such as soil moisture content, permeability plasticity, strength, deformation and stability [17].
