Modelling of Clay Behaviour in Pile Loading Test

Before properties of modeled soil was determined, the engineering properties and critical state line (CSL) of clay soil at same location was previously measured by author [8].
Results and Analysis The followings are data results, analysis and verification of scaling factor of clay soil under PLT: Engineering Properties The engineering properties as shown in the Table 2 demonstrates the very soft clay and high plasticity.

Abstract.
This anomaly for short fatigue crack growth in metallic material has aroused researcher’s extensive attention, because there are no any inherent defects as called long cracks in an actual engineering component, but inevitably contains a variety of microdefects, and the short fatigue cracks primarily grow from microdefects existed on material’s surface or subsurface, including twin bands, grain boundaries and dislocation bands [3, 4].

Currently there are still some difficulties in the quality stability of carbon fibers in China, which restricts the engineering application of domestic carbon fibers.
Joining technology of CMC composites to metals Due to the significant TEC difference between CMC composites and metals, joining CMC composites to titanium alloy injector disk is an important problem for the engineering application of composites in aerospace liquid propulsion.
Conclusions With the further efforts on basic research, ceramic matrix composites, as a new high temperature resistant material with outstanding properties, are widely applied not also in aerospace fields but also in civil fields, such as gas turbines, nuclear fusion reactors, new generation high speed brake disks and mechanical products.
