Currently available remediation solution for SVOCs contaminated sites are still heavily relied on engineering removal technology based on the physical or chemical property of SVOCs.
Engineering technology such as soil vapor extraction (SVE), chemical oxidation and solvent extraction are still primary choice for most brownfield site remediation contaminated with VOCs or SVOCs[3].
The removal rate and final concentration reported in this study was competitive compared with other engineering-based remediation technologies, such as soil vapor extraction (SVE).
