Although the law of concrete with different dosages of mineral admixture, durability under different environments, variation of concrete permeability under different load conditions, and size effect of concrete on chloride resistance have been studied, their specific applications in engineering have not been reported.
In accordance with the wet–dry cycles of high-performance concrete [9,10] and the highest salinity of an engineering environment during dry season, the following corrosive solutions were selected: (1) 3.5% sodium chloride (NaCl) solution (C), (2) 5.0% sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) solution (S), (3) 3.5% NaCl + 5% Na2SO4 solution (CS), and (4) 2.0% NaCl + 0.35% MgCl2 + 0.25% Na2SO4 simulated seawater solution (CQ).

The reason for selecting PVA fiber is that this fiber, since 1990s, has been usedas a major constituent in Engineering Cementitious Composites (ECC) [1-3] due to its excellent properties such as toughness, high stability and durability, non-hazardous nature, high modulus of elasticity, high bonding strength with cement matrix and reasonable cost [4].
