Introduction
Titanium technology development for aero-engines has been driven by the design engineers'
constant desire to gain increasing performance at reduced weight.
The philosophy behind IMI834 was to have a highly alpha strengthened near alpha alloy but to engineer the alloy composition to give a sufficiently wide heat treatment window to reproducibly produce ~5% of retained alpha phase in a transformed beta structure.
The first civil engine applications are likely to be static parts such an engine thrust strut or the supporting struts that form part of the engine mounting structure.
Within the next 10 years introduction of high temperature intermetallic composites should be possible and the emergence of nano-engineered titanium materials and composites could be seen.

Keywords: Cement asphalt mortar; Orthogonal experimental design; Air-entraining agent; Mechanical properties; Frost resistance.
For CA mortar serving in severe cold areas, good frost resistance is one of the key engineering problems that need to be solved urgently.
Therefore, in practical engineering, the dosage of cement, emulsified asphalt and sand can be adjusted according to the above dosage range, and the CA mortar meeting the requirements can be obtained.
In practical engineering, mixing speed and mixing time have different degrees of influence on the working and mechanical properties of CA mortar.
