Zirconium phosphate was a type of layered multi-functional materials that can be used as ion-exchangers [5], catalysts [6], adsorbents.
The BET surface area of Zr(HPO4)2·H2O is 12.29 m2·g-1, and the adsorption isotherm is indicative of N2 adsorption on non-porous materials.

This technique is widely used in the semiconductor industry for device modification and for characterisation in materials science [4,5].
Most FIB applications have been on hard materials such as metals and the interaction of the intense 30 keV gallium ion beam with these materials has been extensively investigated and is well understood [6].
However, the ion beam damage on soft materials like polymers has received less attention.

Not only fatigue of the metal materials but also inferior quality of the lubricant oils will be occurred for the machines after the long-term operation.
The ball specimen was made of SUJ2 (ø6.35mm) and the material properties were given in Table 1.
Besides, the plate specimen was made of SUS304 and the material properties were given in Table 2.
