In this paper, the extraction process was optimized by using response surface methodology, and ultrasonic extraction was used as extract method with the experimental materials of reservoir sediment in Yunnan province [9].

Preface We have great pleasure in presenting this special issue of the journal Key Engineering Materials which contains papers presented on the 2nd International Conference on Materials Science and Engineering: Recent Advances and Challenges (ICMSE-RAC 2019).
The conference was organized by Central Metallurgical Research and Development Institute (CMRDI) with Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology held at Cairo, Egypt from 11-13 March 2019.
In this regard, 300 researchers and experts from academia and industry from 29 countries came together and participated their experience through plenary, keynote, oral and poster presentations in a wide range of materials.
The conference covered different topics of interest devoted to magnetic materials, optical materials, electronic materials, ceramics, minerals processing, extractive metallurgy, biomaterials, bioprocessing, surface engineering, composite materials, metals, alloys, energy production and storage, nanomaterials, catalysis, water treatment, welding technology and finally powder technology.

On the other hand, special microbial strains are added artificially into composting materials.
Okara was added to adjust C/N 30 for the final materials compost, and distilled water was sprayed on the raw material to adjust the water content to 60%.
The last, the controlling and monitoring system[7](Fig. 2) parameters were set as follows: the highest fermentation temperature was 68℃, moisture content of materials was 50-65%,oxygen content of materials was 10-17%.The system was in automatic control mode.

To sum up, this paper provides analysis methods for structure design or usage of titanium materials.
Conclusions When using acoustic emission technique to study the plastic deformation-fracture of metal materials, we can study the plastic deformation, crack generation, expansion and fracture of metal materials with correlation diagrams of energy count, ring count and energy count with amplitude, etc.
