Engineering practice has proved that the occurrence of surrounding rocks frost heave occur in some conditions.
Study has shown that the extent of frost damage which is caused by permafrost type and the depth of freezing is different in cold regions engineering.
Engineering practice and theoretical analysis show that if the underground water behind rocks is drained, the main damage will be greatly reduced or even eliminated greatly.
