As picks are currently widely equipped on excavating machines as rock cutting tools in mining and civil industries, TSDC tipped picks are a major target of the researches.
In reliability engineering, failure data normally mean failure times – the service time periods of individual items from new to failed, and reliability function is usually a function of time.
Demonstration of the Effectiveness of the Proposed Method As the rock segments are cut one by one, and it is assumed that the failure probability of a tip for cutting one segment does not affect the failure probability of the tip for cutting another rock segment, cutting these segments forms a series system in terms of reliability engineering.
