Through the analysis of the result of GA-BP Model, the foundation established by the summary of relationship between the texture image and the objective material parameters can be used to forecast the emotional characters of the materials whose objective parameters are previously understood.
Introduction Currently material texture studied by Kansei Engineering is mainly reflected in: to investigating the comprehensive imagery of materials on people, and identifying factors that affect material texture image; exploring material texture image difference under various perceptions; building the relationship between subjective assessment and objective parameters of materials by mathematical methods, etc [1].
Based on the simulation results of the GA-BP materials texture image model, this paper studies on the laws of the influence resulted by the objective parameters on the subjective evaluation.
Based on this refined model, this study researches the influence law of the material parameters on the subjective evaluation of the materials.
Journal of Donghua University (Natural Science), 2011, 4: 030.

Intermittent Drying of Porous Materials: A Review
CM.
Abstract: Hygroscopic materials can suffer variations in water content and temperature according to ambient air conditions.
For certain materials, much of the resistance to drying process resides in its interior.
The authors concluded that intermittent drying can be recommended, particularly for drying of materials which have a tendency to crack during drying, for example, ceramic and wood.

The results show that the degradation of materials might be one reason for the time-dependent O-ring leakages and can be used to prevent O-rings from field failures.
The FEM analysis relies on the constitutive equations of the materials to describe the materials’ mechanical properties.
Nevertheless, as an important failure mechanism, the degradation of materials should be carefully monitored to prevent the O-rings from potential damages.
