When the doping concentration of S2- is 1 wt%, the phosphor shows the maximum emission intensity, which is higher than that of Sr3SiO5: Eu2+ without S2-.

It is shown that there is no remarkable change between the two excitation spectra; both two excitation bands have a broad band ranging from 300 to 500 nm and two peaks centered at 413 and 479 nm are present, respectively.

Cells were washed with ice-cold PBS and lysed with 100 μL of lysis buffer (50 mM Tris-HCl [pH 7.5], 150 mM NaCl, 1 mM ethylene glycol tetraacetic acid 1 mM NaF, 1% Nonidet P-40, and 1 mM PMSF protease-inhibitor cocktail for 30 minutes at 4°C.
