Abstract: Based on the material strength limit conditions of cable and stiffening girder, the static analysis of self-anchored suspension bridge was calculated.
Influence of Hanger Spacing In the case of other parameters (ratio of side span to main span α, the main cable, the material properties of stiffening girder and hangers, etc.) are given value, relationships of L and λh is shown in Fig.3.
The span of self-anchored suspension bridge is severely affected by the factors such as the material properties, sectional dimension of stiffening girder, main cable, hangers, and ratio of rise to span of main cable, etc.
