Nowadays the great attention of scientists and engineers is attracted by applying 3D-additive technologies for obtaining high-strength fine-grain concrete by using technogenic raw materials.
For the purpose of 3D-additive technologies of civil building construction, in BSTU named after V.G.Shukhov the development of high-strength fine-grain concrete of the quality, which would meet all the present-day requirements, is carried out.

All the gathered data should allow an interpretation of the gradual change in time of the structure’s physical reality, of its technological conception and of its structural behaviour since the original design by the carpenter or engineer, through the subsequent works or “natural” evolutions, unto the current state.
The study of timber structures disappeared from the curricula of the faculties of Engineering and Architecture, creating a real “monoculture of reinforced concrete”, which led to a progressive distrust in the construction potential of wood and to an indifference towards existing structures [1].
However, the structural behaviour to be interpreted must be both the current one and the one conceived by the technician (carpenter, architect or engineer) who originally designed or modified the structure; therefore, a process of gradual rediscovery of the technical culture that generated the historic constructions [27] and of recovery of knowledge of historic construction practices [9] is necessary.

Based on the novelty of the PET or PS recycling concepts, we highlight the need of better collaboration between academic disciplines, such as engineering and architecture to provide better experimental evidence for recycling of polymers, including empirical approaches for the different types of composites and aggregate distributions, which can be made with concrete to improve thermal insulation performance and energy savings for manufacturers.
Table 1 shows the references in each Journal of the publications reviewed, where the 13 papers reviewed are from 10 different scientific journals, as follows: Waste Management (1), Proceedings of Institution of Civil Engineers: Construction Materials (2), Journal of Building Engineering (3), Energy and Buildings (4), Construction and Building Materials (5), European Polymer Journal (6), Case Studies in Construction Materials (7), Composites Part B: Engineering (8), Journal of Cleaner Production (9), and Composite Structures (10).
Based on the novelty of the PET or PS recycling concepts, we highlight the need for more experimental evidence, and as a better collaboration between the academic disciplines of engineering and architecture, as well as among the practitioners of these areas.
