Sprayed concretes belong to composite materials.
What is resistance of this material to extreme temperatures, i.e., particularly as compared with commonly used polymer-cement repair materials?
One of the primary requirements put on these materials is an increase of initial strengths.

Introduction
Size effect is the basic characteristics of brittle materials and quasi-brittle materials.
Bažant and et al. [1] proposed some theories about size effect of brittle materials strength, and pointed out that size effect exist in the studying mechanics property of brittle materials by discrete element method (DEM).
DEM has its own advantage in simulation the mechanics property of brittle materials that can simulate the large deformation and the formation and propagation of cracks [3].
Acknowledgment The research was supported by Natural Science Foundation Project of CQ CSTC (cstc2011jjA00004).
