Introduction In recent years, with expansion of the Western Development plan, the construction task of infrastructure such as railway, highway, civil engineering is relatively huge and urgent, so construction is often in the winter, while the weather of a year in the wide Northwest China is mostly in cold and heavy sandstorm, the characters of alpine region such as low oxygen level and large temperature difference usually bring considerable difficulties to the steel structure construction, and great influences to construction period of a project.
Therefore, in view of the key point and the difficulty of the steel truss and steel beam engineering welding, theoretical analysis of welding conditions must be considered to guide the determination of welding parameters and welding procedure qualification.
Because of the high carbon content in steel, harden quenching trend is increased, the carbon content of martensite is also improved, cracking tendency with low heat input will increase, embrittlement at overheating zone also become serious, so high line energy in engineering is perfected. 2) Preheating.
