This work investigates the effect of irradiation on mechanical properties of UHMWPE.
Mechanical Properties: Linear reciprocating apparatus was used to carry out tribological tests as shown in Fig. 1.
These tests were carried out with original (Or), irradiated (Irrd), and thermal treated (re-melting - RM) of UHMWPE samples to find the effect of both radiation and thermal treatment on the mechanical properties.
Table 1.: The physical and mechanical properties of original, irradiated and re-melted UHMWPE samples.
Conclusions The mechanical properties of UHMWPE were affected by the gamma radiation and thermal treatment (re-melting).

There are many factors that affect the safety and reliability of large winding hoist's
cylinder shell structure, and most of them are of more or less randomness,But,in the reliability
analysis of tube shell structure, For factors on the tube shell vary from degrees of structural failure.
Therefore, It is of great significance to study the size of the various factors that affect the reliability of the tube shell structure.
Limited by factors such as material property, structure and size, load, the cylinder shell of large-scale twining type lifting machine has been one of the most important factors influencing the hoist operation safe of the mine all the time.
Suppose there are n factors influencing the structure failure, then the matrix 3×n composed by these n sensitive vector is called the sensitivity matrix affecting this structure failure.

Thermal equilibrium model
There are lots of factors in affecting the fuze temperature, besides the flight conditions, external and internal heated environment, it can always associate with the body shape, structure and material properties.
Aero-dynamic dominates the factors.
a) The original model b) The finite element model Fig. 5 Because of the wide band of transient load temperature, we cannot ignore the temperature-sensitive factor of material parameters.
The material properties are showed as follows: Table 2 Material parameters Temperature °C E Gpa Y Gpa S Gpa C W/(m .
Through the above analysis, centrifugal claws, escapement Wheel Gear have the maximum displacement of 1.028e- 05 m, as shown in table 3, and its deformation is very small, as a mechanical fuze will not be affected.

Various factors such as installation, operating conditions, hardness and material of constructions were also investigated.
Most of the components were affected by wear.
The affected surface exhibited shiny colour.
The component might also be affected by erosion.

Study of Laser Cutting Parameters Affecting Metal Surface:
An Integrated Literature Review
Anwar Hassan Zabon¹,a, Prof.
These materials are often difficult to machine using traditional methods due to their high mechanical strength and thermal properties [3][4].
This paper provides a detailed analysis of how various LC parameters affect metal surface quality, highlighting the most significant factors.
Understanding these factors is essential to maximizing a laser's performance for a range of applications.
The factors can be divided into three categories, as shown below [88][89][11]. 2.1 Laser System Parameters: These parameters define the overall performance and behavior of a laser system, covering both intrinsic properties and operational settings.

A new model based on least square support vector machines (LSSVM) and capable of forecasting mechanical and electrical properties of Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloys has been proposed.
Because of low price, outstanding properties and being harmless to the health, Cu-15Ni-8Sn alloys have been considered as substitutes for Cu-Be alloys.
How to improve the overall properties of these alloys has been the subject of a number of studies.
As mentioned above, the affecting factors of properties of Cu-15Ni-8Sn-0.4Si alloy are very complex and hard to be described by physical models.

In this study, the equation to find the coefficient of elastic
restraint by adjacent plate components of an orthotropic box-shape flexural member was derived by
employing the energy approach, and the factors affecting the elastic restraint were briefly discussed.
In Eq. (3a, b), buckling coefficient kw and kf include the effect of mechanical properties of plates and elastically restrained boundary conditions.
Coefficient of Elastic Restraint The elastic restraint at the common junction is different from those of the restraining web and the restraining flange, because the elastic restraint is affected by the ratio of dimensions of plate components, the ratio of mechanical properties of plate components, and the ratio of stress distributions of plate components.
On the contrary, if the coefficient of elastic restraint is infinite, it means that the boundary condition is fixed. rf, rw, fρ , and wρ are main factors affecting the elastic restraint. rf and rw represent the effect of the ratio of compressive stress of the restrained plate to the restraining plate component and those values lie between zero and unity according to the width ratio of plate components.
The value of fρ and wρ include the effect of mechanical properties of a restraining plate component and buckled modes (the ratio of half-sine wave length to width of restraining plate component).

Meanwhile, from the point of view of experiment, this paper studies the physical and mechanical properties of solidified soil.
For the silt layer in the area of Ningbo, China, this paper studies on HEC and HAS soil consolidators, discusses the physical and mechanical properties change of solidified soil, so as to provide beneficial reference for the theory and practice of road-construction engineering.
Unconfined compression strength determines the mechanical performance of solidified silt samples, which depends on the physical parameters of soil and consolidators’ properties.
Conclusions The physical and mechanical properties of solidified silt samples have been improved effectively, which mix with HEC or HAS soil consolidator.

From the analysis, there is a significant effect of vacuum pressure on the tensile properties.
Since F*= 166.80 > F0.01;5;84 = 3.26, we reject the null hypothesis and conclude that increasing the vacuum pressure significantly affects the tensile properties of sugar palm frond fibre reinforced polyester composites.

It is also found that the alignment of fibre, intersection between fibre and matrix, bubbles arise during the fabrication of the panel and fibre dispersion can affect the tensile properties of the natural fibre reinforced composite.
