Surface charge properties of aggregate materials
There are two main kinds of aggregate materials used in highway engineering, which one is alkaline and another is acid.
Furthermore, acidity and basicity of aggregate materials are interrelated with the properties of surface charge, that is, if acidic aggregate materials react with water to form hydrogen ions, so the surface of materials has negative charge and solvent medium shows alkaline property.
Otherwise, alkali aggregate materials react with water to form hydroxide ions yielding positive charge on surface of aggregate materials and causing solvent medium shows alkaline property.
According to the summary of above analysis, alkaline materials is hydrophobic materials that easily react with bitumen, while acidic materials are hydrophilic which react with bitumen difficultly.
It can be seen that, from the Table 2, the heat of reaction between anionic aqueous emulsifying agent and the materials was nearly same as the heat of which water reacted on the materials.

However, due to instantaneity of dynamic failure, it is very complicated for the material performance change caused by dynamic impact under different strain rate and stress wave propagation in the materials[1,3].
It is so important to ensure accurately the dynamic fracture toughness of the brittle materials.
Literature [5] show that transmitted wave of quasi-brittle materials and noise signals are an order of magnitude, which lead to distortion of transmission wave.

In the modeling of the SRC special-shaped columns, complexity arises from the irregularity of the cross sections and the model may not converge after load for the components conclude many kinds of materials as the reinforced bars and stirrups, different steel and discrete concrete.

Abstract: In the paper, ultrasonic testing of austenitic stainless steel pipeline welding cladding is stimulated based on ultrasonic testing software CIVA.
Thus, in-depth understanding of acoustic beam propagation behaviors in anisotropic material and accurate prediction of echo signal received by testing system can provide important theoretical guidance for ultrasonic nondestructive assessment of the materials[5].
