Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) possess extremely high stiffness, strength and resilience, and may provide the ultimate reinforcing materials for the development of nanocomposites.
Introduction Carbon nanotubes, discovered first by Iijima in 1991 [1], are the ultimate reinforcing materials for the development of an entirely new class of composites.
Evaluating the effective material properties of such nanoscale materials is one of the challenging tasks for the development of nanocomposites.

Xiao[7]introduced flexible fixture based on phase change materials in weak stiffness workpiece clamping application status, especially electrorheological materials and magnetorheological fluid material.Maojie Ge [8] proposed the processing property of thin-walled titanium alloy component with paraffin reinforcement, it can improve machining stability and surfice finish, reduce the the deformation of components significantly. However, the poor paraffin’s mechanical properties and the low bond stength between titanium alloy component and paraffin have weakened the processing effects.

The characteristic parameters of waste drive axle housing is concerned with nonlinear coupling under different conditions which include load, materials, service condition, failure state and so on.
According to axle housing’s structure, stand test and the welding characteristics of materials [6], it can be concluded that fusion zone between axle tube and axle housing is the weakest position.
