Experiment Preparation of polycrystalline material The purity of raw materials: 99.999% (5N) for BaF2, YF3, TmF3, and HoF3.The concentration of TmF3 and HoF3 are 5at.% and 0.5 at.%, respectively.
The raw materials were weighed according to BaF2: YF3 = 1:2 (Molar ratio) with electronic balance.
The temperature was keeped for 2h, then remove the water and oxygen, stay the furnace cooling to room temperature, lots of high purity nitrogen were pumped in subsequently, finally anhydrous fluoride raw materials were gained.

The continuous network structure composed of silica aerogels of high purity are non-crystallized, porous, surface areas from 800 to 980 m2/g and light weight nano-materials.
However, some used raw materials in the experiment have damage in environment [5].
They are non-crystallized, porous and light nanometer materials.

In SOFC, the cell components deformations are different due to the CTE mismatches between the cell materials.
This might be affected by mismatch between electrode materials at the PEN structure of SOFC.
