(2) The projectile was made up of ceramics, whose main composition were ZrO2 crystal phase and SiO2 amorphous phase, wherein, the mass percentage of ZrO2 was 60%-70%, SiO2 with a content of 28-33 %wt., and Al2O3 as the rest of composition being 0 %-10 %.
Effects of Shot Peening Treatment In order to improve the ability to resist high temperature steam oxidation for Super304H steel, a set of specific process parameters was developed: the ceramic pellets as shot peening materials with the microhardness of 700 HV, and a diameter of 0.6 mm; the Centrifugal shot peening machine with a revolving speed of 3500 r•min – 1, a shots flow of 1.8 kg•min-1 and the 50° in shot angle.
