x Results and discussions When material is exposed to focused UV laser pulses, the energy of the pulse is absorbed in a thin layer of materials, due to the short wavelength of UV light.
For materials of low absorption coefficient, numerous laser pulses must be absorbed before any ablation occurs.
For materials of low absorption coefficient, numerous laser pulses must be absorbed before photo ablation occurs.

In this stage, science and technology knowledge is acquired based on open up new application ways.
The technology based on scientific discovery and innovation, compared with traditional technology, not only to consume a lot of manpower, material and financial resources, but also has obvious characteristics of leading because of its mostly in the forefront of the contemporary science and technology.

Up to now, grinding with diamond wheel is the normal technique for machining high hard-brittle ceramics materials [2].
Experimental materials and equipments The commercial reaction sintered Al2O3, Si3N4 and SiC were taken as specimens in the experiment.
The dimension of all experimental materials, respectively, were 45mm, 4mm and 3mm, cut by the CHN300 CO2 laser unit beforehand.
However, since the hard-brittle characteristic of engineering ceramics, the polishing efficiency for ceramics was lower than many other materials.

Sol gel method offers a simple and low cost thin film deposition process but it needs soluble type of materials.
These coated films are evaporated on hot plate in order to remove organic materials in the film.

Systems of interest include the study of host-guest interactions in gas loaded framework and porous materials [1], particularly for developing materials for gas storage and CO2 sequestration technologies, and the study of catalysts under working conditions.
Understanding the phase behaviour, kinetics, and stability of these compounds is key to developing hydrogen storage materials for automotive applications.
The gas supply system and sample cell described here add significantly to the beamline capabilities providing a facility for in-situ studies of complex materials under gas pressures.
