Improvement on Mechanical and Piezoresistivity Properties of Cementitious Binder by Using Surface Oxidized Multi-wall Carbon Nanotubes Jianlin Luo1, a, Zhongdong Duan2, b, Tiejun Zhao1, c 1, School of Civil Engineering, Qingdao Technological University, Qingdao, Shandong, CHINA 2,School of Civil Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, CHINA alawjanelim@qtech.edu.cn , bduanzd@hit.edu.cn, cztjgp@qtech.edu.cn Key words: Carbon nanotube, Surface treatment, Smart structural material, Piezoresistivity property Abstract.
Introduction Nowadays, the cementitious binder incorporated with some conducting admixtures, just like short carbon fiber, carbon black, nanoparticles, or nanofiber, has been steadily developed in civil engineering.
Therefore, it is certainly proposed that CNT can be advantageously substituted for SCF as reinforcement to cementitious binder, to develop an advanced material in civil engineering.

The fabrication of conventional red clay ceramics products for civil construction, such as bricks and roofing tiles, normally uses other raw materials like sand, in addition to clay, as a way to condition the final ceramic properties.
After extraction from the quarry, the quartzite block is transformed into standard plates for civil construction by means of sawing operations that generate two types of residues.

Soil Mechanics is basic courses for civil engineering, hydraulic structures, farmland and water conservancy, soil and water conservation, power transmission lines and other professional major, is a subject to develop students ability to analyze problems and experimental ability.
Soil mechanics is an important professional basic courses for civil engineering and hydraulic engineering doctoral and key disciplines in China Three Gorges University (refer to CTGU).
Soil mechanics courses related to engineering geology, material mechanics, hydraulics, engineering design and construction, and other related intellectual content, being characteristic of theoretical variety, more loose knowledge system, less continuous content, which is difficult to grasp for students tasting multitude of feel.
Soil Mechanics is a deep content and wide extension subject, smaller to a single soil particles micro-structure, large to transport, civil engineering, water conservancy construction, Are the scope of the study of Soil Mechanics.
