"The 16th International Symposium on Metallography and Materials Science".
The papers presented at the conference reflect the present state of knowledge and the most important subjects that materials science deals with.
I also owe my gratitude to the publishers of this journal for their willingness to deal with the papers of these Proceedings.
The success of this conference was founded primarily on the quality of the participants' research and their enthusiasm for materials science.

Thanks to its durability, low basic weight, colouring ability and shape diversity, glass fibre reinforced concrete may properly replace natural materials [8].
Because they are made of light-weight materials, they are mostly used as cladding elements for façades of multi-storey buildings exposed to hard external conditions.

The most common problems of these methods are complexity of production process, need to expensive equipments, need to expensive raw materials, need to exceedingly pressure and temperature etc.
It is actually a key industrial material.

(2)Physical factors Physical factors including the project required equipment, materials and its auxiliary facilities, the train on the existing railway line and security lights.
The improvement of production technology and the complexity of the project itself makes more and more equipment material we need, at the same time, it requires engineering have high-performance equipment and high-quality materials.

The dryness of the material was about 90%, and was chipped into pieces of size 20-30mm.
At the same alkali dosage, the increase of sulfidity lead to a decrease in sodium hydroxide so the material couldn’t swell sufficiently or react completely, which lead to an increase of residual material.
First impregnated the material in cooking liquor for 10min at 80℃ and then cooked it at the selected conditions: alkali dosage 20% (Na2O), sulfidity 22%, material to liquor 1:4, cooking temperature 168℃,cooking time 60min.
