Abstract:The 22MnB5 steel of Wuhan Iron with three early treatment (pickling, cold-rolling and cold-rolled annealing), then high-temperature oxidation, surface morphology and element of the oxide layer were observed after oxidation testing.
Hot stamping steel mainly has the non-plating materials and Al-Si plating materials, Al-Si plating layer can effectively prevent surface oxidation of the material in the hot stamping process, but the cost of production is high; non-plating material will be some oxided inevitably during hot stamping, the surface oxide layer is removed by blasting method after hot stamping, the cost is low, therefore, the non-plated material has a large practical applications.
Surface oxidation behavior of non-plated material can reduce the mechanical performance and stability of parts [2], how to reduce the surface oxidation behavior of non-plating material is still a serious problem.
Experiment methods Pickling sheet treatment: pickling 22MnB5 material after removing decarbonization layer and oxide layer, the thickness of pickling sheet is 1.3mm; cold-rolled sheet treatment: cold rolling on the basis of pickling sheet, cold rolling to 1.1mm; cold-rolled annealed sheet treatment: annealing on the basis of cold-rolled sheet, steel specimens are kept warm at 700℃ and with 10min holding time, and then furnace cool to room temperature. 22MnB5 steels with three early treatment (pickling, cold rolling, cold-rolled annealing) were heated at high temperature, heating process was shown in the Fig 1, under 930℃, and with 5min holding time, and then air cool to room temperature.
