Because of the higher enthalpy emitted and smaller volume change experienced in the course of phase change, NPG (Neopentylglycol) and some of its derivatives have been considered as more excellent heat storage materials than paraffin et.al., which can storage energy when changes from liquid phase to solid phase.
Experiments preparations of the samples Put NPG, TRIS, PE(chemically pure materials) into drying machine to desiccate serial hours.
Small thermal conductivity is not favorable to the application of heat storage materials.
