The failure due to cracks usually initial from the fillet region and propagates along the journal to the oilseal.
Based from the experimental analysis the failure time occurs are very random between the operating hours due to the load applied and the material properties of the crankshaft.
Torsion acting on the crankshaft was derived through Eq. 6 whereby and T is the torque that is applied by the connecting rod to the crankpin web that is acting on the main journal of the crankshaft as shown in Fig. 6 .

In approximation of two-parameter Weibull distribution the Weibull stress may be expressed as: (1) where denotes the highly-stressed volume of material just ahead of the crack tip within which the triggering event of cleavage fracture occurs, m is the Weibull modulus, V0 – is the reference volume.

Motivated by these applications, open and closed-cell metal foams of different densities, cell sizes, and materials have been studied [1].
Selection of constituent materials is an important part of designing syntactic foams, where strength, modulus as well as density can be optimized [4].
Calculation Model The Al alloy/SiChs composite materials are prepared by a pressure infiltration method.
Fig.1 (a) shows a typical representative section recorded of the composite materials [6].

Composite materials can be made from a variety of materials, including palm fibre, which has excellent modulus of elasticity and tensile strength.
New materials have been created using flax, glass, and unsaturated polyester resin.
The growth of composite science can rely on this material since it produces good mechanical strength, notably neat glass/polyester laminate.
Reinforcing composite materials with date palm fibre has a number of advantages.
