Mathematical description of yarn friction
The Capstan equation (also Eytelwein’s formula) is a common mathematical description of the friction between a yarn and a solid body in relative motion.
This could lead to higher material stress in the yarn.

Materials and Methods
In this paper, the "E3D ToolChanger" 3D printer was utilized, which enables the use of four independent tools within the same print.
All tests were performed on PLA specimens; however, they can be conducted on various other materials as well [16].
Future developments could focus on the geometry of the tool tip, making it more specific for certain applications and materials.
